NORCAL Group Closes 88% of Formal Claims
Without Indemnity Payments
The NORCAL Group — NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company and PMSLIC Insurance Company — closed 88% of formal (reserved) claims in 2010 without indemnity payments.* Of these claims, 26% were closed with no payments whatsoever, while 62% were closed with expenses only — no indemnity payment.
