Claims Handling

The Trial Process

If your claim cannot be resolved through arbitration or mediation and it is determined that your claim is defensible, the case will go to trial. It is critical for you to attend the trial on a daily basis. The jury needs to be aware of your concern for and commitment to the case. The jurors will base their impressions of you on your appearance and demeanor. Professional behavior and a genuine expression of interest and concern will signify that you are confident in the healthcare services you rendered and have no apprehensions about the trial's possible outcome.

The trial is liable to be a long and emotionally draining process. Your NORCAL claims investigator and defense attorney will work with you every step of the way to ensure that you are prepared, informed and focused on a positive outcome.
