Endorsed Part-time Physician Coverage*
Endorsed Part-time Physician Coverage provides coverage for physicians who are extending the practice of a NORCAL policyholder on a temporary or regular, but infrequent basis. This coverage is available to policyholders insured under the Individual/Entity, Group or Health Care Facility policies.
This coverage is not intended to replace the purchase of a separate, individual policy for a permanent physician. Therefore, the number of hours that may be worked by a physician seeking this coverage is limited to 135 hours per month.
Physicians requesting this coverage are required to complete an application and be approved by NORCAL. If approved, the physician will share in the limits of liability and coverage of the policyholder and coverage will be provided only for the services rendered on behalf of the policyholder.
